On street parking is available on Ashfield Road for 1 hour. Alternatively town centre car parks are within easy walking distance of the park.

About the area

Coronation Recreation Ground has the following facilities:

• a single tennis court with alternative netball use
• 2 bowling greens
• a large play area for ages 2 to 8 which is deigned to be accessible to all
• a new multi-use games area with a fitness zone and basket ball zone  
• a play area for ages 8 plus with equipment that is accessible to all
• herbaceous border, flower beds and shrub beds
• grassed open space for informal play and relaxing
• A kiosk/cafe is under developent and due to open in 2024 with disabled toilet and baby change.

The Annual Play Day in August is held at this site.
