What will be happening during the closure?
We will be using the closure of the centres to undertake a number of necessary activities, which include:
Deep clean and restorative decorating
Gym equipment refresh
Studio equipment refresh
I’m a member but didn’t receive an email from Chorley Council

Will my membership transfer across to Chorley Council?
Yes, your membership will continue. You will be able to pay a pro rata amount for your October membership at your local venue once it reopens from 12 October.
All venues will be cashless so please bring an alternative payment method.
I’m a member but my membership has run out, what should I do?
You’ll be able to renew your membership with us or sign up for a new subscription from Monday 12 October. For more information you can call us on 01257 515533 from 8am to 2pm and 5pm to 8pm weekdays, and 8am to 3pm Saturday and Sunday.
How much will my membership be now?
Memberships will be charged at your current rate. We will be reviewing current memberships and putting together new membership options that will be available from January.
I would like to cancel my membership, how can I do this?
You will need to submit your request to cancel your membership to us. The current process requires a 30 day notice period from when we receive your email. The email address is firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01257 515533.
When can I book swimming lessons?
We are restarting our swimming lessons on Monday 19 October. To keep things simple while we reinstate our monthly payment system for lessons, we will be offering a 9-week block of weekly lessons for £45.
Lessons will start w/c 19 October and places will need to be booked in advance. Booking for lessons will open at 9am on Monday 12 October.

• call us on 01257 515533. Phonelines are open between 8am – 2pm and 5pm – 8pm weekdays and 8am – 3pm Saturday and Sunday
• pop into the centre between 8am - 8pm or 8am - 3pm
Please note that spaces will need to be paid in full prior to start date to secure a place, and we are currently only able to take payment by card.
For any refunds for classes missed due to lockdown you will need to contact Active Nation in the first instance.
How will I book to use the gym, classes or pool?
All activities including gym, lane swimming, family swim and classes must be pre-booked. We are working on creating an online booking system but in the meantime we will be taking all bookings by phone; gym and lane swimming sessions will be bookable 2 days in advance, family swim and classes will be bookable 7 days in advance. You can book by calling us on 01257 515533.
Phone lines will be open for bookings from Saturday 10 October 8am to 2pm and 5pm to 8pm weekdays, and 8am to 3pm Saturday and Sunday.

My annual membership was extended during lockdown – will this be honoured by Chorley Council?
Yes, your new end date will be honoured.
Active Nation owe me a refund, what should I do?
