Check out 1498 at the covered market on Saturday 8 April for live music from 12:15pm - 4:00pm. Live music will start at 12.15 with Nick Spencer, followed by Just Giorge (1.30pm) and Lee Egerton (2:45pm). 

Saturday 22 April 2023 Walk in the Dark 2023 Rosemere Cancer Foundation Rosemere Cancer Foundation's annual 11 mile night-time walk from Chorley Hospital to Preston Hospital is back, setting off at 8:30pm. Sign up with friends and family and join them by participating in the biggest event in the Rosemere calendar! Entry is just £15 per person (under 12's can take part for free) with medals and well-deserved refreshments at the end of the walk for all participants. You can walk in support, in celebration, or in memory of loved ones, you can treat the walk as a fun challenge, or simply as a social activity. Dogs are welcome. All funds raised help us continue to support world-class cancer services across Lancashire and South Cumbria. 
Saturday 22 April 2023 Day of Dance Amounderness Ladies and Chorley Traders' Alliance There will be dancers in Chapel Street, Cleveland Street and Fazakerley Street and in front of the Flat Iron Pub at the following times in the morning: 10:30am, 11:10am and 11:50am and then in the afternoon: 2:00pm and 2:30pm. There will be a mass dance in front of the Flat Iron Pub at 3:00pm.
