A circular route over Farmland, Woodland and The West Pennine Moors. Incorporating the Peaks of Rivington Pike, Winter Hill, Great Hill and Healey Nab.

Start - Chorley Healey Scout Group HQ  - Wright Street. Chorley. PR6 0SP (next to Highfield School). Free Parking available on school playground.

Start times.     16.5 mile route - 8.30am          8.5 mile route - 9.30am.

Registration:-   All walkers must register at the registration desk on arrival at the Scout Hut.

Entry fee for 16.5 mile route £10, U16s £8, 8.5 mile route £8, U16s £6, U10s free.

Sunday 29 September 2024Light Classics ConcertSt Laurence's ChurchEach month, on the last Sunday [apart from August], St Laurence's Church hosts a short musical concert with a variety of musicians offering their talents. This month, We will be entertained by Kevin Gowland-Mahon on the flute, accompanied by Fr Neil Kelley on the piano. Doors open at 2.15 for light refreshments, followed by the music at 3.00. Our gift shop is open before and after the concert, and you can browse our monthly art exhibition, too. Entrance is free, but donations of £5 towards the church funds are appreciated. Wednesday 28 February - Wednesday 24 December 2025Big C CafeSt Laurence's ChurchOn the last Wednesday of every month, St Laurence's Church hosts the Big C Cafe. This is a friendly, safe space where cancer sufferers can drop in, between 13.30 and 15.00, to chat, share experiences or ask questions.
