| Sunday 24 November | Light Classics Concert | St Laurence's Church, Union St, Chorley | Each month, on the last Sunday [apart from August], St Laurence's Church hosts a short musical concert with a variety of musicians offering their talents. This month, our Rector, Fr Neil Kelley, will be celebrating his 60th birthday by holding a special birthday concert alongside many of his musical friends. This promises to be an especially enjoyable afternoon, so please come along to join the festivities. Doors open at 2.15 for light refreshments, followed by the music at 3.00. Our gift shop is open before and after the concert, and you can browse our monthly art exhibition, too. Entrance is free, but donations of £5 towards the church funds are appreciated. This is a friendly, safe space where cancer sufferers can drop in, between 13.30 and 15.00, to chat, share experiences or ask questions.
