Licensed premises across the Borough of Chorley are being invited to register their interest in joining Best Bar None, a nationally recognised accreditation scheme that celebrates well-managed venues and supports a safer, stronger evening and night-time economy.
The scheme gives your venue the opportunity to:
- receive recognition for the good work and high standards you already have in place
- demonstrate your commitment to customer safety and responsible management
- work alongside other licensed premises and local partners
- stand out as a venue that customers can visit with confidence
- have your achievements formally recognised and celebrated at a dedicated awards evening
The Scheme is being launched in August, when venues will be able to sign up and find out more about what taking part involves.
The assessment period will then run from September to November. Assessments must be booked and completed during this period, but appointments will be arranged at a date and time that works best for your venue.
The assessment covers key areas of venue management, customer safety and responsible licensing. Venues that meet the required standards will receive Best Bar None accreditation, with accreditations formally presented at a special awards evening in the New Year.
The awards evening will bring together licensed premises, their teams and local partners to celebrate the excellent work taking place across Chorley’s hospitality sector. It will be an opportunity for successful venues to showcase their achievements, recognise the contribution of their staff and celebrate alongside others who are helping to raise standards across the Borough.
Best Bar None is not simply about assessment. It is about recognising the venues that go the extra mile, celebrating good practice and giving customers confidence that participating premises are committed to providing safe, responsible and enjoyable experiences.
