Chorley Council is proud to celebrate the success of local women in business who were recognised at the prestigious Enterprise Vision Awards (EVAs).

The awards ceremony was held on 26 September 2025 at the iconic Winter Gardens in Blackpool and as a proud sponsor of the EVAs 2025, Chorley Council continues to champion female entrepreneurship across the borough and Lancashire.

As the UK’s largest business awards dedicated solely to women, the ceremony brought together hundreds of inspiring entrepreneurs and professionals from across the country. The evening was a celebration of innovation, resilience, and leadership, with Chorley well represented among the finalists.

We are delighted to announce the winners of this year’s awards, celebrating the incredible talent and drive within our borough. Laura Ward and Annemarie Capper of Buckshaw Bunnies Child Care took home the Employer Award, Louise Walden-Edwards of VO:ICE Fitness & Wellbeing Academy won New Business, Becky Toal of Crowberry Consulting was recognised in Professional Services, and Stephanie Reed of Reed’s Refillery received the Sustainable Business Award. In addition, Sophie Lane of Hispania Language School was highly commended in the Young Entrepreneur category, showcasing the outstanding contributions of Chorley’s rising stars.

Chorley was also proudly represented by finalists, Carol Nuttall of Adlington Law (Customer Service), Carolyn Tasker of Learning Curve Group (Diverse Business), Jess Hartley of Sun & Salt by Time For Mezze (Hospitality Industry), Kelly Holding of Dalesview Partnership (Employer), Laura Crowther of The Busy Food Company (Family Business), Rachael Foster-Jacob of Short But Sweet (Customer Service), Ruth Phillips of Woodchats Coffee Shop (Hospitality Industry), Sara Tinsley of Dalesview Partnership (Best Business) and Susan Rashid of SR Supply Chain Consultants Ltd (Employer) who were recognised for their outstanding contributions to their industries.

Leader of Chorley Council, Councillor Alistair Bradley said: "It’s fantastic to see Chorley’s women in business being recognised on such a prominent stage.

“Their achievements are a testament to the entrepreneurial spirit and community strength we have here.

“We’re incredibly proud of all our winners and finalists."
