Eaves Green Community Centre improvements
We are thrilled to announce that we have successfully secured some time-limited grant funding to further improve Eaves Green Community Centre. These upgrades are essential for maintaining and improving our facilities for the benefit of all users. We are always dedicated to delivering high-quality services to best support our residents and these works are paramount in achieving this.
We will unfortunately need to close the facilities for a temporary period. The closure is expected to last approximately 10 to 16 weeks, commencing from January 2026.
During this time, access to the centre will not be available to ensure the safety of all hirers, staff, and contractors while the works are in progress. We understand that this may cause some inconvenience and sincerely apologise for any disruption this may cause to your regular bookings or activities.
We truly appreciate your involvement and ongoing support of our centres. These works are essential to maintaining and improving our facilities for the benefit of all users, and we thank you for your understanding while they are completed.
Where possible, we will do our best to accommodate your bookings at alternative venues during the closure period

A minimum of 4 weeks' notice is required to book a community centre.

Centre open times
Eaves Green Community Centre is available for hire 8am till 10pm, Monday to Sunday.

Large room
90 persons maximum capacity.
The large room is perfect for smaller celebration events, dance classes, fitness groups and a wide range of community clubs and social events. There are a significant number of tables and chairs for general use by the hirer.
Small room
25 persons maximum capacity.
The smaller room at the community centre is suitable for a wide range of smaller sessions and community groups.
General
The community centre offers all the standard amenities including kitchen, washrooms, an accessible toilet and baby changing facilities. The community centre also provides an enclosed grassed area suitable for children's outside activities. With special arrangements for regular hirers, there may be the option to utilise the dedicated secure storage space, should you wish to leave certain items on site between sessions.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the centre.
Parking
There are ample car spaces available on the public car park and dedicated disabled parking bays.
