On 7 May 2026, Chorley Council will hold an election for third of its Council seats.
On the same day, five parish council elections will take place (Euxton, Heapey, Whittle-le-Woods, Mawdesley and Wheelton).

Postal votes delivery – important information
Existing postal voters and anyone applying for a new postal vote before Wednesday 8 April can expect to receive their postal vote from Tuesday 21 April at the earliest.
Those applying for a postal vote from Wednesday 8 April until 5pm on Tuesday 21 April can expect to receive their postal vote from Saturday, 25 April at the earliest.
