Groundwork
Groundwork is operating 2 programmes, which are open to the following age groups:
- Invest in Youth: 15 to 24 years old
- Age of Opportunity: over 50 years old.

Jigsaw Employment Team (JET)
This service is available to both Jigsaw Homes tenants and the wider community. Individuals need to be aged 16 years and above and be either employed or unemployed.

Job Centre Plus Rapid Response Service
To be eligible:
- individuals must suspect that they are going to be made redundant
- participants can be in their notice period
- in Lancashire and Cumbria, individuals are eligible for this support up to 20 weeks after they have been made redundant (this offer is under constant review and subject to change).

- extra help at work for those who are disabled, for example Access to Work.
You may also be able to get help with costs, such as:

Training opportunities: No specific training is offered; however, the Rapid Response Service can help individuals find the right training and learn new skills.
Lancashire Adult Learning
This service is available to individuals aged 19 years and above, however please note that some courses have minimum entry requirements. Please check the Lancashire Adult Learning website for more information.

Training opportunities: Lancashire Adult Learning also have a number of live accredited and informal online courses to support the journey to employment, upskilling or retraining. All courses are fully funded for all participants until further notice.
Lancashire Women
Lancashire Women is operating the Changing Futures programme. Participants must be:
- women
- aged 18 years and above
- not in work
- looking for employment
- wanting to access education or training.

Funding is available for training, however eligibility for this depends on the circumstances and cost.
Maximus Education, Training and Employment Service
Maximus can support men aged over 18 who:
- are under supervision by the Probation Service
- live in London, the North West, Wales, or the West Midlands
- require support with education, training and employment.

To be eligible you must be unemployed, be on zero-hour contract or be inactive (not claiming benefits and not working)

Runshaw College
The apprenticeship vacancies are open to any age group, however please read the job requirements for more information.
Some of Runshaw College's courses are restricted to certain age groups and some have minimum entry requirements.
