Remembrance Sunday

​Astley Park, Chorley. 10:30am

10.30am - Parade sets off from the Lancastrian and makes it way directly to the Cenotaph in Astley Park via St Thomas’s Road, Market Street and Park Road.
10.45am (est.) - Remembrance Service commences.
11.00am - Two minutes’ silence.
11.15am (est.) - When the service and wreath laying has concluded, the parade will return to the Town Hall. The return route is: turn right into Park Road, left into Union Street, right into Cleveland Street, right into High Street and right into Market Street.
11.30am (est.) - The uniformed groups will form a guard of honour for the Mayor in front of the Town Hall.

Prior to the main Remembrance Sunday commemoration, there will be a short wreath laying ceremony in memory of the Chorley Pals in front of the Pals Memorial Statue in Union Street at 10am.
