About the area
Coronation Recreation Ground has the following facilities:
- a single tennis court with alternative netball use
- 2 bowling greens
- a large play area for ages 2 to 8 which is deigned to be accessible to all
- a new multi-use games area with a fitness zone and basket ball zone
- a play area for ages 8 plus with equipment that is accessible to all
- herbaceous border, flower beds and shrub beds
- grassed open space for informal play and relaxing
- A kiosk/cafe is under developent and due to open in 2024 with disabled toilet and baby change.
The Annual Play Day in August is held at this site.
