The popular Chorley Flower Show returns to Astley Park from Friday 31 July to Sunday 2 August 2026, offering an exciting programme of activity including special guests.
Show organiser, Chorley Council, has announced that one of Britain’s best known and best loved gardeners, Charlie Dimmock, will be heading to this year’s Chorley Flower Show on Saturday 1 August.
Having first come to the nation’s attention on BBC1’s incredibly popular Ground Force filmed both here and in the US, Charlie has gone on to present amongst other things, Cheer for Charlie, Charlie and the Duchess, Garden Invaders and Chelsea Flower Show, for the BBC. At Chorley Flower Show, visitors can look forward to inspiring talks from Charlie, along with the chance to meet her.
Crowd favourites Jonathan Moseley, Martin Fish and Jill Fish will also return to the show for 2026, sharing their top tips and delivering hands on demonstrations at The Potting Shed Garden Theatre throughout all three days of the show.
Exciting news about more special guests is expected to be announced soon.
Deputy Leader of Chorley Council, Councillor Peter Wilson said: “We’re delighted to be welcoming special guests from the world of gardening, along with an outstanding lineup of attractions at this year’s Chorley Flower Show.
“Whether you’re a gardening enthusiast, a flower fanatic, or want a great, entertaining day or weekend out, get your early bird tickets for Chorley Flower Show.”
In addition to special guests at this year’s Chorley Flower Show, visitors can expect spectacular show gardens and floral displays, competitions, workshops, horticultural and lifestyle stalls but the show goes way beyond horticulture, with an array of food and drink and an outstanding range of entertainment for all the family to enjoy.
