Chorley Council is calling on residents to take part in its latest Resident Survey, offering an opportunity for the community to share their views on local services and help shape future priorities.

The survey, which takes approximately 15 minutes to complete, invites feedback on a wide range of topics that matter to residents. These include council services, experiences of contacting the council, local communities and town centres, housing, climate change, and community events.

Residents are encouraged to take part online at www.chorley.gov.uk/residentsurvey

The survey is open until Sunday 14 June 2026, and residents are encouraged to take part before the deadline to ensure their voice is heard.

Councillor Alistair Bradley, Leader of Chorley Council said, “By taking part in the survey, you can help shape the future of your community and ensure we continue to focus on the services that matter most.

“The feedback gathered will play a vital role in helping us understand the evolving needs and priorities of our community and I encourage as many people to get involved as they can.

“Responses and insights from the survey will directly inform future planning, service delivery, and improvements across the borough.”

To ensure the process is robust and impartial, the survey is being conducted on behalf of the council by independent research specialists, NWA Research. The company operates under the strict guidelines of the Market Research Society, guaranteeing that all responses remain confidential and that personal details will not be shared.

Residents who have questions about the survey or would prefer to complete a paper version can contact Norma Wilburn at NWA Research on 07811 101585 or via email at norma.wilburn@nwaresearch.co.uk.
