Competition entries on display at Chorley Flower Show

Whether it’s flowers, fruit, vegetables, or floral art, there’s a class for every green fingered hobbyist and more in Chorley Flower Show’s popular amateur competitions.

Alongside professional show gardens and floral displays, entertainment and many more attractions, the three‑day show in Astley Park (31 July to 2 August), organised by Chorley Council, highlights an impressive array of amateur entries.

Deputy Leader of Chorley Council, Councillor Peter Wilson said: “The Amateur competitions continue to flourish and not only provide an opportunity for people to get involved in the annual show, but the colourful and creative displays of amateur entries are a highlight for visitors.”
