“Supporting the EVAs is just one of the ways we are championing entrepreneurship in Chorley, especially women who are helping to shapw our local economy and that is why it is fantastic to see Chorley so well represented among this year’s finalists.
“These businesswomen are driving innovation, creating jobs, and setting new standards in their fields and we are proud to see their hard work and dedication recognised on such a prestigious platform.
“Chorley Council extends its congratulations and best wishes to all local finalists and encourages residents and fellow businesses to show their support in the coming months.”
Coral Horn, founder of the EVAs said: “The EVAS celebrates women from all sectors, from startups to scaleups, and it’s the connection, collaboration, and shared inspiration that make this community so powerful.
“We’re especially grateful to Chorley Council, who’ve supported the EVAS since 2011 and continue to champion female entrepreneurship in a meaningful way.
“Their dedication to nominating local women is making a real difference, and you can see it pays off with the large number of incredible entrepreneurs who are representing Chorley in the finals."
The finalists now move forward to the next stage of the judging process, with winners to be announced at an awards ceremony taking place at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens on Friday 26 September 2025.
