The popular national restaurant chain, Nando’s is expected to arrive in Market Walk in Chorley in 2026 subject to relevant planning approvals.

Nando’s has submitted a series of applications to the council relating to a new shop front and signage.

Councillor Alistair Bradley, Leader of Chorley Council said, “I’m delighted that Nando’s is seeking to set up shop in Chorley and has submitted planning applications for the premises.

“It’s one of the most recognisable restaurant chains across the country and their decision to choose Chorley really highlights the success of Market Walk and the wider town centre offer.

“Market Walk is going from strength to strength, and our town centre transformation works in the new year will allow for even more great businesses to call Chorley home.

“This, along with the nearby historic Chorley Market and its 1498 food and drinks area, and lots more things to enjoy, it just shows that Chorley is a destination of choice and offers the best of Lancashire all in one place.”

Market Walk, owned and operated by Chorley Council, is home to independent retailers and high-street favourites offering a brilliant shopping, dining and leisure offer in the town centre.

Recently, family entertainment centre ReBel joined the Market Walk roster offering activities such as bowling, darts and pool, and this teamed with neighbouring Reel cinema offers a brilliant day out for all.

Applications submitted by the restaurant are subject to approval with more detail due to be shared in the new year.
