We are required to research demand for self build plots in the area and from 1 April 2016 the Self-build and Custom Housebuilding Act 2015 obliges us to maintain a list of people and groups interested in building their own homes.

The Community Right to Bid allows community groups to nominate assets which they consider to be of community value.

Chorley Council Registered Provider Partnership Framework
The Council implemented a Registered Provider (RP) Partnership Framework on 1st April 2022 which applies to all planning applications requiring affordable housing provision.
