How to get online
We have a support network made up of local organisations who are working together to develop the digital inclusion opportunity for the people of Chorley so we can have a digitally inclusive town.
For people to be digitally included, they need connectivity, accessibility and digital skills. There are 5 basic digital skills we would like people to have to be active and safe online:
- handling information and content
- problem solving
- being safe and legal online.

Other free digital support
If you struggle with filling in online forms, online banking, Universal Credit, health appointments or just want some other help with online activities, we are working in partnership with Citizens Advice Bureau who provide free digital support from community venues across the borough. There is no need to book, you can just turn up.
Due to the current coronavirus pandemic, these sessions are not currently running. If you need urgent support with any online applications please call 01257 515151.
