Blainscough Public Inquiry

Please note, the inquiry finished on Thursday 14th October 2021. The decision notice will be uploaded to this page once it is issued by the Planning Inspectorate and this page will remain for approximately 2 weeks after that.
After that time the decision notice will be available on the planning application file for the application ref: 20/01399/OUTMAJ, available via the 'view a planning application' section of our website.
Outline planning application for the erection of up to 123 dwellings (including 30% affordable housing) with public open space provision, structural planting and landscaping, and vehicular access points from Grange Drive. All matters reserved save for access.

The inquiry is currently anticipated to sit for 4 days opening on Monday 11 October at 10am at Chorley Town Hall, but the duration is not fixed and will depend on how the evidence emerges.
The inquiry is to be held as an in-person event with the facility to participate virtually.
Anyone wishing to participate virtually (via Microsoft Teams or telephone), rather than in-person by attending the Town Hall, should email their request to email@example.com as soon as possible before the inquiry starts and joining instructions will be sent out prior to it opening.
