Problems paying Council Tax
If you are struggling to pay your Council Tax, you must take action before things get worse. You may be able to get help if you are having difficulty.
Options to help you pay:
- sign up to pay by Direct Debit - it is the easiest way to pay
- ask us to spread your bill over 12 months
- change your payment plan dates / make an arrangement
- see if you qualify for Council Tax discount and exemptions
- claim Council Tax support if you are on a low income.
If you are unable to pay the current years Council Tax before the end of the financial year (31 March) or if you are struggling with your payments please let us know by completing a general enquiry form.
