There's less than 6 weeks to go until the Chorley 10K and 2K Family Run taking place on Sunday 5 May - have you booked your place yet?

Residents and visitors flocked to the town centre on Saturday (23 March) for a celebration of creativity.

The much loved, free, celebration of the arts returns to Chorley town centre on Saturday 23 March from 11am until 4pm.

Barclays Local are now operating from Chorley Council's civic offices.

Councillors and officers were delighted to attend and represent Chorley at the awards last night.

Get ready for Chorley's Winter Wonderland, featuring a real ice rink and more, to return to the town centre.

From 1 - 24 December 2023, the 1 hour free parking currently offered on town centre car parks (except Flat Iron) will be extended to 3 hours free parking (with the exception of the Flat Iron car park which will be 2 hours free parking), with a time of arrival ticket required.

Chorley's Corporate Strategy for 2023/24 approved at a full Council meeting on 21 November, sees refreshed commitments to making sure that the council continues to support the borough to thrive, delivering excellent services and a thriving economy to ensure that residents are able to succeed.

Following a bid submitted in June 2022, Chorley Council has been successful in securing £20m from the Government's Levelling Up fund (third round) for the regeneration of Chorley Town Centre.

Visitors can enjoy a full day of festive fun, in Chorley town centre on Sunday 19 November for the Christmas Lights Switch On and Totally Locally Chorley Christmas Market.
