Qualifications, skills, knowledge or experience required
- to be able to ensure that all those attending the session are treated with dignity and respect at all times
- a knowledge of Safeguarding would be advantageous, however mandatory training will be provided every 3 years.
Key duties and responsibilities
- to assist with the delivery of the services of The Meeting Place as directed by the Team Leader
- to assist with the setting up of the room and ensure that all equipment and servers can work safely
- to be willing to receive instructions to operate equipment used throughout the session safely
- to ensure that Food Safety Regulations are complied with during the session
- to work with other team members and support those as required during the session, through activities prepared for all to participate in
- to assist with cleaning and clearing of all utensils, equipment and furniture at the end of the session, leaving the area suitable for other hirers to use
- to comply with all Health and Safety regulations and risk assessments for Chorley URC whilst in attendance and prior to attending the session
- to ensure that any incidents which could be considered a near miss, accident or are a breach of safeguarding policy are recorded and reported to the Team Leader.
