Adlington Hub Youth Volunteer
Location: Fairview Youth & Community Centre/Highfield Rd North, Chorley, PR6 9RN
Qualifications, skills, knowledge or experience required
We need volunteers who:
- are passionate about working with children and young people
- can establish positive relationships with children and young people and be a positive role model
- ability to start a conversation with young people
- engage young people in small games
- ability to build professional relationships
- able to meet the needs of young people
- can work with children and young people with diverse needs in small and large groups
- are creative, enthusiastic, confident and resilient.
Key duties and responsibilities
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist with our youth group sports activities! Whether you have experience coaching or just want to lend a hand, your support will help make a positive impact on our young athletes.
Activities include
To help set up and tidy away activities. To support staff members or other volunteers in activities. Encourage children and young people to participate and engage in activities.
Time commitment
Every Friday.
6pm till 8pm.
For at least a 6 month period.
