Renewed Horizons Chorley Employment Support and Advocay Program.
Our Chorley Employment Support and Advocacy Programme is designed to help local people who have been long-term unemployed rebuild their confidence, skills, and financial independence through personalised, practical support. The project aims to strengthen Chorley’s reputation as a place that actively supports residents back into meaningful work, fostering renewed purpose, wellbeing, and community connection.

Support available: Over a 6–10 week period, participants will receive tailored one-to-one employment guidance and advocacy to help them move closer to sustainable employment. This includes specialist CV reviews, interview preparation, and insight into the local labour market to make applications more effective. We’ll work closely with local employers to identify opportunities, arrange work trials, and ensure candidates are well prepared to meet workplace expectations. By engaging both participants and employers, we bridge the gap between jobseekers and the labour market—helping people compete on equal footing and re-establish themselves in work.
