UDevelop CIC are personal development specialists who provide engaging, fun, and innovative ways of working with those furthest from opportunity, helping them to fulfil their potential. While they specialise in supporting individuals facing significant barriers, we also work with a wide range of learners to boost confidence, build skills, and provide the support needed to succeed. 

UDevelop services range from working with learners who may be in isolation so they have developed a full framework to educate the learner from home into face to face provision which can help build up trust, rapport, consistency and provide learners with the self belief that they need to reinvest with their educational development pathway.

Courses available:

  • Remote wellbeing courses -  4 weeks over the phone for people in isolation
  • Positive Minds - 6 weeks creative programmes which can help build up confidence and self worth. You take part in many activities that include; vision boards for the future, arts based therapy workshops, gardening and growing and a team task that can help the local community with a furniture upcycling.
  • Listen UP - A 5 week confidence building podcasting programme to get learners enthused about talking about topics that mean something to them. They also build up their life skills which are transferable for personal and career development
  • Royal Society of Public Health award - Level 2 Understanding Health Improvement - This 5 week course covers all aspects of personal health. Looking into the positive and negative influences of health, exercise, how exercise can support your wellbeing, smoking and alcohol consumption, how you can support local people with public health initiatives, Health inequalities and basic communication skills. This course empowers people about health and they can make informal choices about health.
  • Basic Computer skills workshops - 4 weeks delivery providing learners with opportunities to learn basic digitial skills and sustain these skills in their households. Skills such as; being able to access online sites, using applications, and being able to access online forms or government websites.
  • Digital Employability - This is 6 weeks delivery and can provide people with interview techniques, CV Support and support and guidance to get into employment, training or volunteering.
