To be eligible you must be unemployed, be on zero-hour contract or be inactive (not claiming benefits and not working)

Individuals must also have one of the following objectives:

  • employment
  • education/training
  • volunteering.

Support available:

  • one to one weekly, fortnightly, or monthly support via telephone, email, text, online or face to face (key worker discretion and social distancing guidelines apply)
  • individualised action plans that assess need and barriers to employment
  • zoom job clubs
  • information, advice and guidance on benefits, housing, training and more
  • specialist advice from our financial inclusion team
  • work experience, volunteering placements and apprenticeships
  • discretionary financial support for childcare, interview clothing and
  • travel costs
  • job searching
  • CV and covering letter writing
  • writing application forms
  • interview preparation.

Training opportunities: Accredited courses available. Information on informal health and wellbeing and employment courses provided. Funding is also available for other courses or training opportunities. Please contact the Progress Futures team for more information.
