Your Homeless Assessment and what to expect at your appointment
Your appointment will be arranged with a Housing Options Officer, who will talk with you about your housing needs and those of your household (if applicable).
They will:
- help you access any support you may need
- work with you to create a Personal Housing Plan, which will outline steps to:
- prevent you from becoming homeless, or
- help you find a place to live if you are already homeless
⚠ Important
If we don’t receive the requested information, it may delay your Housing Officer in carrying out their duties and could slow down the support you receive.
Please provide as much relevant information as possible so we can give you the right advice and ensure you get the support you need.
We're here to support you
We understand that life can be difficult, and sometimes it’s not possible to attend an appointment.
If you miss your appointment, your case may be closed, which could delay the help you need.
But don’t worry — if you still need support, we’re here for you.
To arrange a new appointment, please contact the Housing Options Service:
