Homeless assessment and advice
To make an appointment for a homeless assessment or to speak to us you can:
- call 01257 515151
- email housing.solutions@chorley.gov.uk
- visit our offices at the Civic Offices, Union Street, Chorley, PR7 1AL.
In some instances home visits can be arranged if you have mobility problems.
Opening hours for advice is 8.45am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).
Assessments will usually take up to 1.5 hours.
If you are in need of emergency help outside of these hours, please call the out of hours team on 01257 515142.
Your homeless assessment
At your appointment, we will take your details and assess your circumstances.
To assist us in giving you a good service we ask you to:
- bring proof of ID, income, and child benefit if you have children
- give us as much information as possible as soon as possible
- attend appointments on time
- tell us about any changes in your circumstances.
