Taxi Licensing Objectives
The Local Authority’s primary objective is to protect public safety and as such will regulate the Taxi Licensing trade to promote this objective. Chorley Council also aims to stimulate a professional, responsible and efficient Taxi Trade within the borough. Consistent and fair regulation of the Taxi Trade will facilitate these further objectives without compromise to public safety.
