Qualifications, skills, knowledge or experience required

Are you approachable, reliable, available for at least one day a week and able to demonstrate the following skills:

  • listen and help someone who finds technology baffling and needs help to carry out a simple task
  • navigate the internet to look up information
  • cut and paste information into a document
  • gather information to help a client complete a form that is vital to their needs - such as acting as a scribe and inputting the client's answers into an online form
  • provide written notes on action a client might need to take
  • recognise when a person may require specialist help.

Key duties and responsibilities

You will not give advice in this role but assist clients to carry out activity online to help solve their issues.

Time commitment

A minimum of 1 day per week.
