Data Protection and Freedom of Information

  1. Hirers may be asked to provide personal data and/or other information and the Council will hold and process that information in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulations 2018 (GDPR), Data Protection Act 1998 and/or the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
  2. Under normal circumstances personal data which the Council collects will only be used for the purpose(s) for which it was collected. However, the Hirer notes that the Council will share personal data with a third party where the Council has a legal obligation to disclose it or where it enables the Council to collect unpaid hire fees.
